MEET WARREN

"I'm Warren Petersen, and I’m running to be your next Arizona Attorney General because our state deserves a fighter who will defend the rule of law, protect our freedoms, and push back against bureacratic overreach.

As Senate President, I stood up for Arizona families by defending state laws when others refused, like ensuring fairness in women’s sports. I’ve led the charge against unconstitutional mandates, fought for our Second Amendment rights, and worked to keep government in check.

As Attorney General, I’ll enforce the law without bias, hold criminals accountable, fight for the rights of crime victims, and protect the rights of every Arizonan. Our state needs strong leadership in the AG’s office—someone who won’t back down when it matters most. I’m ready to get to work."

Arizona State Senate President Warren Petersen has served in the Arizona Legislature since 2012, where he was first elected to the Arizona House of Representatives. He currently represents district 14, which covers Gilbert and parts of Queen Creek. Throughout his career at the Legislature, President Petersen has advocated for limited government, reduced regulations, fiscally conservative initiatives, low taxes and free market principles.

He has received several awards and recognitions for protecting religious freedom, free markets, small business, and individual rights.

Service in the legislature has included House Majority Leader, Rules Chair, Commerce Chair, Judiciary Chair and Ethics committee.

President Petersen is a third-generation Gilbert resident and a graduate of Gilbert High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and a Juris doctor degree from ASU Law. When he’s not busy at the Legislature or running his business, he’s spending time with his family and serving those within his community.
